What is a personal trainer?

What a personal trainer does is largely determined by what a client needs. Aside from fitness education, the foundation of a personal trainers purpose is supporting their clients, holding them accountable, and prioritizing their goals.

  • Carry out an initial consultation to discuss starting place, goals, and possible barriers.

  • Complete fitness assessment to expose any potential muscle imbalances that need work.

  • Build a personalized program tailored to your needs and goals.

    • The focus of the program will be on strength training, supplemented with stretching, stability, core, and cardio recommendations.

    Let’s workout together! A session to focus on what you’re looking to improve or need guidance on.

  • 50 minute sessions x 4

    A bundle of 4 in-person workout sessions to build a strong foundation in the gym and work upon initial progress.

    Whether we meet once or twice (or more) per week is up to you.

    You can communicate with me via platform chat in between sessions (Monday-Friday 9am-5pm) with any questions or concerns.

  • 50 minute sessions x 8

    A bundle of 8 in-person workout sessions to work upon initial progress and learn more skills in the gym.

    Whether we meet once or twice (or more) per week is up to you.

  • Program write-up & check-ins

    A personalized program designed for 6-12 weeks of progressive overload (strength and muscle development).  

    Weekly 30 minute check ins to answer any questions, ensure you’re on track, navigate any barriers, and make any necessary adjustments as you progress through the program.

    This option will provide you with 3-5 planned workouts and 1 check-in per week.

  • For someone who wants to pursue their fitness goals more independently.

    A personalized program designed for 6-12 weeks of progressive overload (strength and muscle development).

    An initial consultation to determine starting place and goals.

    A follow up meeting to answer any questions/concerns.

    Check-ins can be added on as you go through your program if you decide you want more guidance!
